When life becomes more challenging, the Harrison offers full care in a relaxed, home-like setting. Hallways are light and bright. The size of the rooms and the windows are larger than the required standard. Comfortable common lounge areas lead out to large balconies or secured gardens.
The Harrison offers 112 private rooms and 6 semi-private rooms that are intended for couples or friends. Each suite has an ensuite with toilet and sink.
Dedicated staff provides respectful and gentle care in a Christian atmosphere. A pastor, along with a trained team of pastoral care volunteers, provide spiritual, emotional and personal support to residents and their families, while respecting the rights of all persons to their beliefs and religious practices.
With the Harrison having both private and publicly funded beds and offering full care, this ensures that no matter what level of care is required by a resident, no one should ever have to move away from Elim Village.
